Senior Researcher

The MixLondon, CA
$48,000 - $50,000Hybrid

About The Position

The Mix is a global market research agency for people who want to create something they’ve never seen before. Since 2012, The Mix has been combining the best of quantitative, qualitative, strategy, and creative to create market research campaigns that answer what, why, how, and who in equal measure. Oh, and we work a 4-day week - that is right, we don’t work Fridays! Based in London and New York, but operating globally, the team is a bunch of diverse, committed, enthusiastic, and hardworking people. Together, we work with some of the world’s biggest brands including Diageo, Nike, Just Eat and LEGO. This position is based in London. What you'll be doing: In a nutshell, you’ll be delivering compelling and commercially relevant strategies based on insight gathered from primary research which is designed, conducted and analysed by you and the team at The Mix. You will work closely with a senior director (your line manager) and the Researchers and Strategists who will report into you. What this means on a daily basis: You will lead the day-to-day management of multiple qualitative research projects. You will have an active involvement in all aspects of the research – from the study design through to client debriefing (including defining a recruitment spec, carrying out the study using different qual methodologies, moderating online or face-to-face, working on analysis documents and creating compelling strategic narratives that are insight-led and evidence-based). You will utilise and delegate appropriately to more junior members of the team to maximise the use of your time. You will manage clients on projects, with support from a Director. You will be alert to commercial sensitivities and proactively explore better working practices. You will proactively investigate how we can optimise our research approaches in robust and creative ways.
