The Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute (RNI) at West Virginia University is seeking a Senior Research Scientist specialized in Neurodegenerative Research to drive progress within the RNI's Innovation Center team. This role involves collaborative research at an R1 institution focused on advancing the science and clinical research of neurodegenerative diseases. The position will support personalized medicine initiatives, including focused ultrasound neuromodulation, lifestyle interventions, and early prognostic indicators. The RNI has an extensive patient registry and has seen significant growth in publications, grants, and intellectual property related to neurodegenerative conditions. This position is primarily remote, with occasional onsite presence required. It is not a faculty position and does not require fundraising or proof of prior grant awards. The role will advance WVU's research and development missions by coordinating and implementing operational tasks for various research projects within the RNI.
