This position is the SENIOR REGISTERED NURSE SUPV who works directly under the supervision of the Executive Community Health Nursing Director. This is a supervisor who makes daily decisions that facilitate the efficient operation of the following clinical programs: Women’s Health, Family Planning, Colposcopy, Immunizations, Insulin/Epilepsy, Sexually Transmitted Disease, Tuberculosis, Refugee Health, Lab and Pharmacy. This is a working supervisor’s position that will supervise positions assigned to the clinical programs and this position will provide clinical services and coverage in assigned programs. This individual will be responsible for all supervisory duties including, but not limited to, hiring and selection, developing performance plans, conducting performance appraisals, planning, and directing their work, approving leave, and taking disciplinary action as appropriate. Clinical: This incumbent serves as the Clinical Nursing Supervisor for the FL DOH clinics working with the clinic leads to make sure all patients are served timely. This supervisor manages daily assignments for clinic staff and works directly with the team leaders, program staff, Nursing Director, and clinical clerical supervisor to make sure clinics are staffed and operating efficiently. Ensures staff meet the daily needs of clinic, staff coverage and staff assignments. Assures timely and accurate input of practitioners and nurse’s documentation of clinical visit and services are entered in HMS accurately. Acts as liaison with the DOH-Flagler fiscal office to resolve billing issues. Assists with client referrals to other resources. Maintains participation in HMS-EHR progression and utilization in clinics. Provides clinical services for all clinics as needed
