About The Position

We are looking for a Senior Recruiting Specialist to lead enterprise-wide talent acquisition efforts and continuously enhance how we attract, engage, and hire top talent across Physicians Mutual. This role blends strategic partnership, operational excellence, and recruiting innovation. You will serve as a trusted advisor to leaders across the organization, leveraging technology, data, and modern sourcing strategies to build strong talent pipelines and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field and/or 5–7 years of Human Resources experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and compliance requirements, including EEO and immigration regulations.
  • Experience leveraging Applicant Tracking Systems and recruiting technologies.
  • Ability to analyze recruiting data and translate insights into actionable improvements.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to accommodate recruiting events and occasional travel (approximately 10%).

Nice To Haves

  • 3–5 years of recruiting and interviewing experience preferred.
  • Professional HR certification (HRCI or SHRM) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment across all business areas, partnering closely with officers, managers, and supervisors to align hiring strategies with workforce needs.
  • Serve as a strategic talent advisor, providing guidance on structured interviewing, equitable hiring practices, and market conditions.
  • Optimize and maintain recruiting workflows within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring data integrity, compliance, and accurate reporting.
  • Develop data-driven sourcing strategies using recruiting technologies, CRM capabilities, digital platforms, and labor market insights.
  • Build proactive talent pipelines for high-volume, operational, specialized, and professional roles.
  • Analyze recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill and source effectiveness to continuously improve hiring outcomes.
  • Support and coordinate immigration processes (including H1B and I-140 filings) in partnership with legal counsel while ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Ensure timely completion of I-9 documentation and employment verification processes.
  • Represent Physicians Mutual at job fairs, networking events, and community engagements to strengthen our employer brand.
  • Support onboarding initiatives and mentor recruiting team members to promote best practices and process consistency.
  • Collaborate on broader HR initiatives, projects, audits, and continuous improvement efforts.
