About The Position

We are seeking a hands on Recruiter with experience recruiting skilled hourly textile manufacturing roles to support our production operations. This role will focus heavily on recruiting for maintenance technicians, warpers, weavers, slashers, and other production-critical positions across multiple shifts. The ideal candidate is comfortable working directly with plant leadership, understands textile manufacturing processes, and knows how to attract, assess, and close skilled hourly talent in a competitive labor market.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources or related field.
  • 5+ years of recruiting experience in manufacturing environments, with direct experience recruiting hourly production or maintenance roles
  • Working knowledge of textile manufacturing operations and terminology (e.g., weaving, warping, slashing, looms)
  • Proven success filling skilled trades and production roles in high-demand labor markets
  • Strategic approach to recruiting within limited candidate pools, utilizing proactive sourcing and market intelligence to attract top talent
  • High proficiency utilizing Indeed, ZipRecruiter and LinkedIn to identify and maintain candidate pipeline
  • Experience supporting multi-shift, 24/7 manufacturing operations
  • Strong sourcing and relationship building skills within local labor markets
  • Ability to work on-site and build credibility with plant leadership and hourly employees
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple open requisitions

Nice To Haves

  • Prior recruiting experience specifically in textile, fabric, fiber, or yarn manufacturing
  • Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and multi-craft maintenance recruiting

Responsibilities

  • Lead full cycle recruiting for skilled hourly textile roles, including: Maintenance Technicians (electrical, mechanical, and multi-craft) Warpers, Weavers, Slashers, and related production roles
  • Partner closely with plant managers, supervisors, and maintenance leaders to understand skill requirements, shift needs, and production priorities
  • Develop targeted sourcing strategies for hourly manufacturing talent, including: Referrals, local networks, trade schools, workforce agencies, and community partnerships
  • Manage high volume recruiting while maintaining quality and speed
  • Conduct candidate screening, interviews, and coordinate skills assessments as needed
  • Support shift-based hiring, including off shift and weekend recruiting when required
  • Drive offer generation and acceptance, including hourly wage alignment and start-date coordination
  • Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS (ADP) and track key recruiting metrics
  • Ensure a strong candidate experience from application through onboarding
  • Stay informed on local labor market trends, wage rates, and competitor hiring activity
  • Ensure compliance with all employment laws, safety requirements, and company policies
