About The Position

PolyNovo is looking for a Senior Recruiter to join the team. This role will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent for all departments within the North American team at PolyNovo. This role manages the full recruitment lifecycle, from posting job openings to scheduling interviews and onboarding new hires, while collaborating closely with hiring managers, leaders, and People team members to ensure a seamless recruitment and onboarding process. This role will also support ongoing Talent Acquisition programs and process improvement initiatives and act as a Talent Advisor to business leaders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred. Years of experience may substitute for degree.
  • Experience with behavioural and competency-based interview techniques.
  • 5+ years of experience in full lifecycle recruiting.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to hiring.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with co-workers, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of medical device, MedTech, or biopharmaceutical recruiting experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of outside sales recruiting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full lifecycle recruiting process from intake to onboarding for all North America positions (70%+ sales).
  • Source and engage top talent for current and future openings using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools.
  • Review resumes and applications and conduct initial phone or video screenings to evaluate candidates’ qualifications.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the process.
  • Work with hiring managers to create assessment methods and criteria to evaluate candidates effectively.
  • Conduct reference checks and lead salary negotiations as needed.
  • Ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process by communicating with candidates and keeping them informed of their application status.
  • Implement automation tools to improve recruitment efficiencies.
  • Identify areas for improvement in the recruitment process and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to recruiting and hiring.
  • Track report on recruitment metrics to inform decision-making and optimize hiring strategies.
  • Teach best practices and educate the company’s hiring managers on the recruitment industry.
  • Implement candidate assessment framework based on PolyNovo values and competencies.
  • Launch Talent Acquisition SharePoint site with resources for interviewers and hiring managers.
  • Act as a Talent Advisor to business leaders, partnering on talent forecasting and succession planning strategies.
