POSITION SUMMARY The Senior Recruiter will play a pivotal role in leading full-cycle recruitment for leadership positions across the portfolio, with a primary focus on Executive Director searches at the community level, as well as select corporate leadership roles. This position requires a strategic and proactive talent partner who can identify, engage, and attract top-tier leadership talent. The ideal candidate will bring experience in full-cycle recruiting and the ability to develop innovative sourcing strategies, including external talent mapping and direct outreach. A proven track record of building strong stakeholder relationships and delivering a premium candidate experience throughout the recruitment process is essential. Experience within senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or other multi-site corporate environments is strongly preferred.

Requirements

  • Education: A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience, Competencies, and Skills: At least 5 years of experience in recruitment, with a significant focus on sourcing and hiring for executive and leadership roles, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Demonstrated expertise with applicant tracking systems and advanced recruitment technologies.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies for leadership positions.
  • Strong professional presence with a high level of integrity.
  • Robust organizational and analytical skills.
  • Work Setting: In-person, out of our Scottsdale Corporate Office.
  • Office Hours: Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Nice To Haves

  • An associate's or bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience working in Senior Living, Healthcare, or Hospitality is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement creative recruitment strategies to build robust internal and external candidate pools for leadership positions.
  • Proactively source for leadership roles across channels such as job boards, social media, and professional networks.
  • Establish and nurture a network of industry contacts to share talent, gain market intelligence, and adopt best-practice recruiting methodologies.
  • Apply behavior- and competency-based interview techniques to assess candidates' knowledge, relevant skills, and cultural alignment.
  • Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle for key property and corporate leadership roles.
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership, Human Resources, and property leadership to ensure a stellar candidate experience.
  • Efficiently manage the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure streamlined operations and compliance.
  • Regularly generate and analyze key talent acquisition metrics to optimize sourcing strategies and refine recruitment processes.
  • Maintain strict adherence to all federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Uphold and promote Cogir's core values and culture through all recruitment activities.
