The Senior Receptionist delivers a high level of hospitality to all clients, guests, vendors, and employees. This role ensures a welcoming, professional reception experience while supporting daily operations and maintaining awareness of client needs and business activity.

Requirements

  • High school diploma with 2+ years of hospitality or customer service experience in a hotel or corporate environment

Responsibilities

  • Support the Reception Services Manager to ensure a positive and memorable guest experience
  • Greet all guests promptly, making eye contact within 10 feet and using standard greetings
  • Maintain a friendly, professional, and approachable presence at all times
  • Serve as a resource for wayfinding, hospitality services, and general inquiries
  • Assist with check-in, register guests in the security system, and escort them to destinations
  • Coordinate conference room bookings based on client needs
  • Review and memorize VIP profiles; recognize and welcome VIPs to service standards
  • Maintain awareness of daily business activity and communicate updates with the team
  • Share relevant information with colleagues during guest interactions and escorts
  • Provide operational support as needed, including lunch coverage and callouts
  • Support onboarding and training of new associates and complete required checklists
  • Participate in cross-training across reception functions
  • Build relationships with employees and repeat guests to enhance their experience
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures and maintain service standards
  • Escalate issues to the Reception Services Manager as needed
  • Understand and execute emergency procedures, including fire protocols
  • Maintain required hospitality appearance standards
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the building, local area, transportation, and restaurants
  • Stand and walk frequently throughout shifts; lift and carry up to 30 lbs
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
