We are adding to several departments in accounting with our anticipated growth. Are you ready to take on a new challenge? We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Property Accounting team in Denver, CO . Where You Will Work Our corporate office is located in the Denver Tech Center . Our office spans the top two floors of the building and features expansive views of the mountains and the downtown skyline. AIR values relationships and the benefits from working side by side with teammates, therefore this position will be in-office 5 days a week to support operations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent relevant education and 4-6 years professional accounting experience preferred
Attention to detail and deadline oriented
Strong Excel skills
Knowledge of GAAP/SFAS
Ability to analyze financial data
Ability to research and report results

Nice To Haves

Continuing Education (Master in Accountancy, CPA, CMA) preferred

Responsibilities

Performs and monitors the day-to-day accounting and month end close functions.
Records financial transactions.
Prepares, reviews, and distributes financial reports.
Prepares reconciliations, roll-forwards, and financial analysis.
Prepares budgets, forecasts, trend analysis, and fluctuation commentary.
Complies with internal controls.
Provides financial reporting and analysis to internal and external business partners.
Identifies opportunities and implements process improvements.
Acts as Team Leader including mentoring new hires, leading projects, and resolving issues.
Participates in special projects that impact policies and procedures.
Acts as a subject matter expert for specialized accounting areas/systems, including training and trouble shooting in area of expertise.

Expected pay range of $85,000 - $110,000 base salary plus annual target bonus.
