AST SpaceMobile is building the first and only global cellular broadband network in space to operate directly with standard, unmodified mobile devices based on our extensive IP and patent portfolio and designed for both commercial and government applications. Our engineers and space scientists are on a mission to eliminate the connectivity gaps faced by today’s five billion mobile subscribers and finally bring broadband to the billions who remain unconnected. Position Overview The Senior RAN Manager / MNO‑Americas is responsible for leading operator‑side RAN acceptance execution across lab and field environments for the Americas region. This role ensures that standardized probe packs, acceptance criteria, persistence thresholds, CIQ integrity, and service‑level objectives (SLOs) are consistently validated to support pre‑launch and beta activation milestones. The manager plans and executes operator test cycles, diagnoses defects, validates KPIs, aligns results with OSS/NOC workflows, and publishes readiness artifacts that accelerate market acceptance while minimizing post‑launch rework. As the regional RAN acceptance lead for the Americas, this role drives coordinated execution across operators, vendors, and internal engineering teams. The Senior RAN Manager oversees vendor and MNO test activities, governs BPMS workflows, and manages activation sequencing in partnership with NOC and scheduling functions to ensure timely acceptance sign‑offs. By enforcing CIQ integrity, persistence validation, and UE‑probe‑based checks, this role reduces acceptance churn, limits post‑activation rework and ensures that regional launches consistently meet defined performance and persistence targets.
