About The Position

The Quality Systems Engineer in QMS team will be responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving our Quality Management System in compliance with AS9100 and applicable aerospace regulations. You will: Develop, implement, and improve the quality management system in alignment with customer expectations and applicable regulatory requirements, international standards, and industrial methodologies. Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and other cross functional teams to ensure our defined processes are robust to drive mission success throughout the entire product lifecycle. Own Document Control system, ensuring accurate, compliant, and efficient management of controlled documents, records, and change control processes. Plan and lead internal audits to evaluate the performance and effectiveness of the QMS. Direct and support root cause investigations and corrective and preventive action process to drive improvement of the management system. Provide training and guide cross-functional teams on quality systems continuous improvement initiatives. Monitor and measure management system data and report to management to drive the system improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, or related STEM field
  • 5+ years of experience in quality systems or quality engineering, familiar with QMS platforms and digital applications, preferably in aerospace
  • In-depth working experience of AS9100 or ISO9001 requirements and principles.
  • Certified QMS lead auditor (AS9100 preferred).
  • Strong skills in document control, process mapping, and continuous improvement.
