We have an immediate need for an onsite Senior Software Systems Quality Engineer (Quality Assurance/Compliance) to support Land & Air Defense Systems (LADS). Within Quality & Mission Assurance, the Software Quality Engineering department (SWQE) performs classified activities in secure labs and unclassified activities in dedicated workspaces. SWQE Tasks – Review of Document Deliverables (CDRL), Command Media (Policies), SW Release Packages (Windchill PDM, Azure DevOps), SW Requirements Changes, SW/System Defects, SW Pulls (Code Reviews), Media, and Test Artifacts. Participation in Peer Reviews (SW, SE), Control Boards (CCB, SRB), Tracking Books (Metrics), Test Witnessing (SQT, FQT), and Audits Key Programs LADS includes Global Patriot, Ghost-Eye / Lower Tier Air & Missile Defense, National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile, Multi-Function Radio Frequency Sensor, Enduring Indirect Fire Protection Capability, Stinger, Next Generation Short-Range Interceptor, TOW, Javelin, Excalibur, and Counter Unmanned Aerial systems. Key Locations Software Quality collaborates with Engineering (Software, Systems, Integration/Test, Safety) and other Quality functions (Program Quality Leads, Hardware Quality). Primary activities occur daily onsite in Tucson, AZ (1151 East Hermans Road or nearby sites). This is an onsite role in Tucson, AZ What You Will Do: Compliance – Ensure digital products adhere to contractual requirements. Review and approve inputs/outputs to/from partner organizations. Improvement – Perform independent evaluations and risk assessments across lifecycle. Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions. Products – Ensure integrity of the technical data package. Identify, collect, and measure software quality attributes, metrics, and data. Teamwork – Interact with customers, product development, and test personnel. Provide guidance to senior management, team members, and group peers. Processes – Leverage modern experiences with software development and quality best practices. Increasingly adopt Agile and DevSecOps methodologies.
