About The Position

The Senior Quality Administrator supports both internal and external quality operations within an AS9100 aerospace manufacturing environment and reports directly to the Director of Quality. This role serves as a key operational contributor responsible for executing and coordinating core quality system processes, including Material Review Board (MRB) activities, supplier quality record management, First Article Inspection Report (AS9102) review and approval, and audit readiness. The position works cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and external suppliers to support compliance with customer, regulatory, and contractual requirements, administer quality systems such as Arena QMS, support supplier onboarding and performance monitoring, and assist with internal, supplier, and third-party audits. The Senior Quality Administrator plays a critical role in identifying and escalating quality risks and trends, ensuring disciplined execution in a fast-paced, highly regulated aerospace environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional coursework in Quality preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in Quality Management
  • Experience using ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
  • Basic computer skills (data entry, email, spreadsheets)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Clear communication and ability to work cross-functionally

Responsibilities

  • Supports both Internal and External Quality operations within an AS9100 aerospace manufacturing environment, reporting directly to the Director of Quality.
  • Serves as a key operational contributor responsible for executing, coordinating, and improving quality system processes supporting manufacturing, supplier performance, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance.
  • Support Material Review Board (MRB) activities, including chairing MRB meetings, coordinating cross-functional dispositions, executing material transactions, managing Return to Vendor (RTV) processes, and maintaining full material traceability within the ERP system.
  • Performs material cycle counts, reconciles discrepancies, and drives inventory accuracy between physical inventory and ERP records.
  • Actively monitors MRB cage inventory levels, minimizing financial exposure, backlog aging, and production impact.
  • Reviews, approves, and rejects AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) to ensure compliance with AS9100, customer, and contractual requirements.
  • Serves as a primary liaison with external suppliers for quality record submission and approval, including administration of Arena QMS and similar quality systems.
  • Supports and manages the Supplier Quality Onboarding Program, ensuring new suppliers meet quality system, documentation, and process readiness requirements.
  • Develops, maintains, and reports supplier performance metrics and scorecards, enabling visibility by business unit, commodity, supplier, buyer, and risk category.
  • Escalates Quality performance trends, risks, and supplier escapes to Supplier Quality Engineers and Quality leadership using structured problem-solving platforms.
  • Supports internal, supplier, and third-party audits, including preparation, execution, and corrective action follow-up, to ensure ongoing AS9100 compliance.
  • Coordinates and manages third-party quality consulting resources supporting internal and supplier quality initiatives.
  • Engages regularly with internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating strong technical judgment, professional communication skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.

Benefits

  • Compensation: $77k – $114k, plus generous annual equity package and potential bonuses.
