Senior Quality Analyst (Remote from New York)
About The Position
In this role, you will ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of critical data and systems while supporting the development and deployment of high-quality products. You will collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, and business teams to design and implement validation strategies, resolve data inconsistencies, and promote best practices in testing and quality assurance. The role offers opportunities to lead end-to-end testing cycles, contribute to automation initiatives, and mentor team members. By ensuring data integrity and software reliability, you will play a key part in enabling confident, insight-driven decisions and maintaining trust across the organization. This position is dynamic, collaborative, and focused on continuous improvement in a fast-paced technical environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading testing teams and managing end-to-end test cycles
- Strong hands-on experience with test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress)
- Proficiency in SQL for querying complex datasets across multiple databases
- Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured) and programming languages such as Python or Java
- Experience with Agile, DevOps, or CI/CD methodologies
- Detail-oriented, strategic thinker with a passion for software reliability and continuous improvement
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated and manual test plans to validate product specifications and requirements
- Lead testing teams through all phases of the test lifecycle, including planning, execution, reporting, and post-project analysis
- Perform complex data research and validation across multiple databases to ensure integrity and accuracy
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Monitor testing progress, document issues, and coordinate resolution or escalation with project teams
- Act as a subject matter expert in quality assurance methods, providing guidance and mentorship to team members
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to champion quality standards and best practices
