About The Position

Pet Supplies Plus is seeking a Senior QA Analyst to serve as the functional owner of quality assurance for our ecommerce and mobile platforms, with selective support for marketing technology initiatives that directly impact the digital customer experience. This role is a hands-on, senior individual contributor with functional leadership responsibility. The Senior QA Analyst is accountable for testing outcomes end-to-end—personally executing testing while coordinating internal partners and external QA resources. The role is designed to materially reduce testing risk, improve release confidence, and enable Product Managers and Business Analysts to focus on requirements, strategy, and delivery. This position is primarily focused on ecommerce, including web and mobile applications built on Sitecore’s digital experience stack, with limited involvement in marketing technology including Salesforce Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud, testing where changes intersect with ecommerce or mobile experiences.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software QA / testing with strong hands-on execution.
  • Experience testing ecommerce platforms and/or consumer-facing mobile applications.
  • Strong understanding of UAT, regression testing, release validation, and production support.
  • Experience coordinating testing across cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Ability to operate as a senior individual contributor with functional leadership responsibility.
  • Experience with Sitecore platforms, especially OrderCloud-based ecommerce implementations.
  • Prior experience introducing or expanding test automation in an existing environment.
  • Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Experience testing marketing technology platforms integrated with ecommerce or mobile applications.

Responsibilities

  • Own end‑to‑end quality assurance for ecommerce websites and mobile applications, executing functional, regression, UAT, smoke, and production validation testing across releases and hotfixes.
  • Ensure comprehensive test coverage of critical customer journeys including browsing, search, cart, checkout, promotions, loyalty, grooming, and notifications.
  • Lead QA efforts across the Sitecore ecosystem (XP/XM, OrderCloud, Content Hub), validating integrations with pricing, promotions, fulfillment, and loyalty systems, and supporting upgrades and configuration changes.
  • Develop and maintain test strategies, plans, cases, and regression suites; proactively identify coverage gaps and mitigate release risk.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying automation opportunities and partnering with engineering to balance manual and automated testing for speed and quality.
  • Act as the functional QA lead, coordinating testing across Product, Engineering, and external partners, and serving as the single point of accountability for testing status, risks, and go‑live recommendations.
  • Provide targeted QA support for MarTech initiatives impacting ecommerce and mobile experiences, and contribute to test planning, documentation, and automation during testing lulls.
