We are currently recruiting for a Senior Proposals Manager to join the OXB Commercial Team in either our Bedford, MA or Durham, NC locations.  Reporting to the Proposal Management Director, the purpose of the role is to lead the proposal generation process with support from technical experts, playing a key part in advancing our mission and making a real difference.

Requirements

  • Professional qualification (Bachelor’s or Masters) in the life sciences
  • Moderate experience in life sciences companies, pharmaceutical companies, CDMOs or related sectors, ideally in a similar role or in a Commercial function, preferably within a C> or biologics CDMO.A working knowledge of the structure and content of proposals, RFIs and budget quotes.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Teams).
  • Experience of working with clients.
  • In depth knowledge of process development and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) projects in Pharma & Biotech.
  • Excellent organisational skills and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong communications skills in both written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

  • To support the Business Development (BD) team in responding to new business opportunities through timely delivery of proposals, budget quotes, scope of work and requests for information (RFI) using OXB’s templated documents. This role will also work on more complex, non-templated proposals.
  • To work with the BD and Client Programme Manager (CPM) to gain understanding of client needs, will attend client meetings to gather and present technical information that supports the generation of the proposal documents with support from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
  • To prepare and organise the content of the proposal documents, ensuring consistency, formatting and compliance with client requirements and OXB capabilities and standard offerings.
  • To schedule meetings and coordinate input from SMEs, ensuring clear communication of client requirements and efficient information gathering.
  • To accurately describe the technical activities, estimated project timelines and cost estimates.
