Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 10 years related experience
  • A minimum 5 years project management experience
  • Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered. Example: Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.
  • MS Office and MS Project experience (Access experience would be plus)
  • Demonstrated leadership, business development and strategic planning skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree
  • Federal experience desired
  • PMP certification

Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct and monitor all aspects of multidiscipline projects with a high degree of technical complexity. Projects typically involve leading a cross-disciple/cross functional team to execute.
  • Execute and deliver on multiple projects concurrently.
  • Establish client relations and directly support marketing, contractual, design, and production meetings.
  • Conduct schematic, design development, and contract document work sessions at project sites in conjunction with other project and program managers, appropriate technical professionals, and other functional disciplines.
  • Coordinate staffing and workload through entire project development lifecycle to meet project delivery schedule.
  • Work with HDR leadership which includes: Business/Accounting Managers, Project Controllers, and Department Managers for routine project reviews.
  • Implement QA/QC procedures.
  • Execute training for personnel as established by strategic plans.
  • Supervise large project staffs and act as mentor for less-experienced Project Managers.
  • Obtain and maintain professional engineering registration.
  • Perform other duties as required.
