You will work on diverse projects for clients within the private and public sectors. Typical projects involve site civil land development design for energy, commercial, residential, higher education and industrial site development projects. Requirements

• B.S. in Civil Engineering is required.
• Alabama PE required.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in the design and construction of land development projects.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work and thrive in a team environment.
• Ability to effectively work and interact with clients, maintain project budgets and schedules.
• Ability to provide technical expertise to design team.
• Experience with AutoCAD or Microstation and Microsoft office is required.
• Experience and proficient with Water Gems, Sewer Gems, and ICPR.

Nice To Haves

• Background in the higher education and/or energy market is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating and managing design teams in all aspects of a given project including stormwater, grading and full utilities design to develop detailed construction plans.
• Master of modeling of both utilities and drainage systems.
• Responsible to review and oversee all associated calculations, reports and spreadsheets.
• Client relationship management and marketing for new services.
• Responsible to prepare scope and fee determinations for proposed engineering services.
• Effectively manage projects from conception through construction completion.
• Attend field meetings with contractors and clients.
