Senior Project Manager Relocation Assistance + Up to $5,000 Sign-On Bonus | Aberdeen, SD We’re seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Aberdeen, South Dakota office and lead high-visibility, client-facing projects from planning through completion. What You’ll Do As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll oversee project execution from kickoff to closeout, ensuring alignment with company objectives related to cost control, safety, quality, client satisfaction, and schedule performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Technology, or a related field (Associate’s degree considered with relevant experience)
  • 5+ years of project management experience, including 3+ years leading projects
  • Strong working knowledge of contracts, budgeting, scheduling, and cost controls
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills and comfort presenting to clients and leadership
  • A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
  • Ability to stay organized, prioritize effectively, and perform under tight deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and fully understanding project contracts, specifications, scope, budgets, and allowances prior to project start
  • Monitoring project progress weekly, including labor costs, material costs, and productivity
  • Identifying opportunities for value engineering and improved fabrication or installation methods
  • Partnering with project/site leaders and operations managers to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Managing job cost reporting, progress billings, and overall project profitability
  • Coordinating schedules, including subcontractor timelines, and updating overall project schedules monthly
  • Resolving project conflicts, changes, and potential risks related to scope, schedule, safety, or productivity
  • Reviewing and approving invoices for materials, labor, vendors, subcontractors, and rentals
  • Managing change orders with clients, general contractors, suppliers, and internal teams
