About The Position

The Senior Project Manager provides leadership and oversight for multidisciplinary water treatment projects across Linkan’s portfolio. This role is responsible for managing the full project lifecycle—from proposal and design through construction, commissioning—ensuring technical excellence, financial discipline, and alignment with Linkan’s strategic and client objectives. The Senior Project Manager works closely with the Director of Engineering and Project Management, internal discipline leads, and external stakeholders to deliver projects that meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets. This position plays a critical role in mentoring project teams, driving continuous improvement, and reinforcing Linkan’s culture of accountability and ownership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Construction Management, or a related field (advanced degree a plus).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
  • 8+ years of progressive project management experience, including at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.
  • Proven success managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and deliverables.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and client relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent).
  • Ability to travel periodically to project sites and client locations (typically 15–25%).

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of complex water treatment and infrastructure projects from initiation through completion.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and maintaining clear communication throughout each phase.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Coordinate resources and priorities across multiple projects to support company and client objectives.
  • Identify potential risks or challenges early and implement practical solutions.
  • Support field activities and ensure safe, high-quality project execution
  • Represent Linkan in meetings, presentations, and project reviews.
  • Manage client expectations, scope changes, and project communications to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
  • Support proposal development and assist in identifying new project opportunities or contract extensions.
  • Track project costs, forecasts, and progress to ensure financial objectives are met.
  • Prepare and review invoices, budgets, and project reporting with leadership and finance teams.
  • Support business planning and project performance reviews by providing accurate and timely data.
  • Drive accountability for cost control, forecasting, and revenue recognition.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project teams.
  • Promote collaboration, accountability, and problem-solving across departments.
  • Reinforce Linkan’s employee-ownership culture and encourage a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
