About The Position

The Senior Project Manager is a strategic, highly autonomous role responsible for leading the end‑to‑end execution of complex packaged power generation projects across engineering, commercial, supply chain, and field operations. This position ensures full technical, schedule, and commercial alignment while proactively identifying risks, driving cross‑functional accountability, and influencing decision‑making at all levels of the organization. The Sr. Project Manager serves as a senior technical representative for PROPWR, providing authoritative guidance in engineering discussions, customer engagements, and deployment planning. This role requires exceptional ownership, advanced technical comprehension, and the ability to communicate with clarity and confidence to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with full organizational alignment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical, or Project Management discipline preferred.
  • 7+ years of technical project management experience, ideally in power generation, packaged equipment, or field services.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, cross‑functional technical projects with high visibility.
  • Strong working knowledge of generator systems, electrical packaging, and engineered equipment deployment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation (P&IDs, one‑lines, layout drawings).
  • Familiarity with electrical gear, balance of plant, and commissioning processes.
  • Proven ability to independently drive schedule creation and execution based on engineering and operational understanding.
  • Comfortable representing technical teams and making informed decisions with limited oversight.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and action‑driven with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Proficient with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com) and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex, multi‑site, or high‑visibility projects with minimal oversight, ensuring alignment across engineering, commercial, supply chain, and operations.
  • Define project scope, critical paths, and interdependencies with a high degree of technical and operational insight.
  • Anticipate risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies to protect schedule, cost, and customer commitments.
  • Develop, own, and optimize detailed project schedules, including resource planning, engineering deliverables, procurement timelines, and field deployment sequencing.
  • Drive cross‑functional accountability by ensuring all stakeholders meet deadlines and deliverables.
  • Serve as the senior proxy for engineering in internal and external meetings, clearly articulating technical decisions, impacts, and change requests.
  • Provide informed recommendations based on engineering principles, field realities, and customer requirements.
  • Lead design alignment discussions and influence engineering direction when needed.
  • Lead recurring project alignment meetings, ensuring transparent communication of status, risks, and required actions.
  • Develop and present executive‑level project dashboards and updates for leadership.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Identify equipment, materials, and deployment requirements with a deep understanding of electrical gear, balance of plant, and generation assets.
  • Support commercial and engineering leadership on strategic initiatives, internal development projects, and process improvements.
  • Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies by attending all required HSE training sessions, safety meetings, and always utilizing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe driving practices
