As a Senior Project Manager , you will join a team of infrastructure solutions experts working to solve our client’s ever evolving project needs. This opportunity will be located in our Orlando office and could have potential to be hybrid depending on the specific client, project and team needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management
  • 15+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience managing large capital construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction delivery methods (DB, CMAR, DBB)
  • Familiarity with project controls and cost management tools
  • Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication skills with both private-sector teams and public-sector stakeholders
  • Understanding of municipal governance structures, public accountability and political considerations that influence capital projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Have a team player mindset with the ability to communicate proficiently in written and verbal forms
  • Have good to great organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Ensure project decisions align with Owner goals, business objectives, and operational needs
  • Provide objective oversight of project scope, schedule, cost, and quality
  • Maintain strong professional communication with municipal officials, regulatory agencies, and public-sector partners
  • Coordinate with planning departments, permitting authorities, utilities, and other governmental stakeholders
  • Understand and respect the balance of authority between elected officials, municipal staff, regulatory bodies, and project teams
  • Ensure project decisions are communicated appropriately through established governmental channels
  • Maintain diplomacy and professionalism when navigating multi-agency environments or complex public stakeholder dynamics
  • Assist in defining project goals, scope, budget, and success criteria
  • Develop procurement strategies for design and construction services
  • Assist with preparation of RFPs/RFQs for consultants and contractors
  • Coordinate and manage the design team on behalf of the Owner
  • Monitor design progress against schedule and budget
  • Monitor design changes that may impact budget or schedule
  • Coordinate value engineering efforts when necessary
  • Support the procurement and contracting process for project services
  • Maintain project contract records and documentation
  • Serve as Owner liaison with the contractor and construction team
  • Monitor construction progress and schedule adherence
  • Review change orders and assess impacts to scope, cost, and schedule
  • Track construction costs and forecast final project cost
  • Coordinate Owner decisions affecting construction progress
  • Provide regular reports to the Owner on project status
  • Maintain project documentation and decision logs
  • Facilitate communication between Owner leadership and project teams
  • Coordinate with user groups, operations teams, and facility stakeholders
  • Provide updates to executive leadership or governance boards
  • Coordinate with local authorities and permitting agencies as needed
