We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex, high-value programs across multiple clients and project types. This is a senior-level leadership role within the PMO, requiring a high degree of autonomy, strategic thinking, and accountability. You’ll serve as a key bridge between frontline execution and program-level leadership—driving delivery excellence, mentoring team members, and contributing to continuous improvement across the organization. Preferred experience: Security Technology (Fire, Burglar, Access Control)
Requirements
- Strong leadership experience managing complex, multi-project environments
- Deep expertise in a technology vertical (e.g., physical security, wireless, IT, structured cabling)
- Excellent client communication and relationship management skills
- Strong financial acumen (budgeting, forecasting, margin management)
- Proven ability to coach and develop team members
- Experience with Microsoft 365; ServiceNow is a plus
- Comfortable with change management and conflict resolution
- Interest in leveraging AI and emerging tools to improve delivery
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5–8+ years of project management experience in complex environments
- Proven success managing full project lifecycle with strong financial outcomes
Nice To Haves
- Experience in IT, low voltage, security systems, wireless, or construction preferred
- PMP certification preferred or in progress
Responsibilities
- Lead planning and setup of complex, multi-site or multi-phase programs
- Develop project strategies, schedules, and scope documentation
- Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, IT, Finance, Sales, and Operations
- Lead project kickoff meetings and establish clear expectations
- Manage multiple concurrent programs, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery
- Serve as senior client point of contact for complex or escalated engagements
- Oversee all phases: kickoff, execution, monitoring, and closeout
- Conduct site visits and quality control checks
- Proactively identify risks, issues, and scope changes
- Own portfolio financial performance, including contribution margin
- Monitor budgets and proactively address risks
- Lead change order processes for scope changes
- Ensure timely invoicing, PO management, and vendor payments
- Identify and implement process improvements across the PMO
- Capture and apply lessons learned to improve future execution
- Strengthen client relationships and drive repeat business
- Partner with Sales to identify and support growth opportunities
- Manage and mentor Project Managers and Sr. Project Coordinators
- Set performance goals and conduct regular evaluations
- Support career development and training initiatives
- Promote a culture of accountability, learning, and continuous improvement
