Triton Environmental, LLC (“Triton”) is actively searching for a Senior Project Manager to join our Site Assessment and Remediation team in Guilford, Connecticut. Triton is a full-service environmental consulting and engineering services firm, and part of True Environmental (“True”). At True we are building a diversified environmental services organization focused on consulting and engineering, water/wastewater management, testing/analytical services, and value-add remediation services. Requirements

  • Connecticut Licensed Environmental Professional (LEP)
  • 10+ years’ experience in the field of site characterization and remediation with experience implementing Connecticut Remediation Standard Regulations.
  • Degree in a related scientific field.
  • Familiarity with the applicable regulatory processes of the Property Transfer Program, Released-Based Cleanup Regulations and Voluntary Remediation Programs.
  • High degree of motivation, strategic planning, self-starting capability and able to work autonomously;
  • Project management experience including deliverables, schedules, and budgets
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with development of Environmental Land Restrictions and Connecticut Brownfields Cleanup Programs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage site assessment and remediation projects including legacy Transfer Act, Brownfields sites, as well as sites undergoing assessment/remediation under the Release-Based Cleanup Regulations, developing site characterization work plans, evaluating site characterization data, development of remedial plans, coordinating with regulatory agencies, and implementing remediation projects.
  • Collaborate with other Assessment/Remediation team members to review and revise written work products.
  • Coordinate subcontractors including drilling and remediation contractors and laboratories.
  • Coordinate scheduling to meet client’s deadlines.
  • Analyze data, prepare client reports, and communicate with clients.
  • Review and interpret federal, state, and local regulations to apply to a range of client’s operations, equipment, and circumstances.
  • Respond to requests from clients or regulators on data or information provided in communications, reports, etc.
  • Mentor junior staff and delegate tasks to foster junior staff career development.
  • Track and manage project budgets.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other True Environmental LEPs and project managers.
