Senior Project Manager (Limited Duration) Project Manager 3 Oregon Department of Administrative Services (DAS) Salem, Oregon (Hybrid) This is a Limited Duration position currently approved through June 30, 2027, with the possibility of extension. Limited duration employees receive full benefits. Current State of Oregon government employees may be considered as a job rotation. About the Role As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll take the lead on complex, high-impact projects that touch agencies across the state. In this role, you will guide enterprise-wide initiatives that directly support the efficiency and accuracy of Oregon’s HR and payroll operations.

Requirements

  • Seven years of professional level experience related to the class concept; OR
  • Six years of professional level experience related to the class concept AND an Oregon Project Management Associate Certification; OR
  • Four years of professional level experience related to the class concept AND a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, or a closely related field; OR
  • Two years of professional level experience AND Project Management Professional Certification awarded by the Project Management Institute.

Responsibilities

  • Lead large, complex Workday Oregon projects from strategy and planning through implementation
  • Coordinate cross-agency project teams and collaborate with partners across the enterprise
  • Manage scope, timelines, risks, issues, and project dependencies
  • Ensure system solutions align with statewide policy, business requirements, and operational needs
  • Drive adoption and successful change outcomes across agencies during system rollouts
