Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven work experience in project management or project management support.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, communications, or an industry-related field.
  • Knowledge of commercial furniture solutions preferred.
  • Experience managing healthcare projects with long project cycles and a high volume of internal and external stakeholders
  • Knowledge of healthcare-specific materials and finishes, including requirements for cleanability, durability, infection control, and functional performance
  • Strong understanding of patient care environments with emphasis on safety, regulatory considerations, and clinical workflow
  • Experience working within healthcare contracting structures such as GPOs and IDIQ partnerships, and managing vendor/manufacturer relationships
  • Ability to coordinate furniture planning and installation with electrical and plumbing infrastructure, including custom counters and casework in patient rooms
  • Experience specifying and delivering specialty furniture for medical applications, including patient rooms, laboratories, and nursing stations
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-phased healthcare projects that may require re-phasing mid-project, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Monday.com, Enterprise resource planning (ERP), and an enthusiasm for learning new software programs.
  • Excellent communication skills: Listens and gets clarification, responds well to questions, writes clearly and informatively.
  • High-level analytical thinking expertise: thoughtful analysis and problem-solving skills, effective decision-making, and leadership competencies.
  • Ability to execute tasks efficiently and calmly, lead completion of multiple tasks and deadlines, and perform conflict resolution.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills: collaborate effectively with project stakeholders, internal team members, and vendor partners to manage expectations and ensure a positive client experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to remember the details of each project and scope of work.
  • Willingness to travel when required; occasional out-of-state travel may occur.
  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop. The employee may occasionally lift and /or move up to 30 pounds. This position may require travel between offices, jobsites, and/or client locations, which may involve extended periods of sitting or standing, lifting light luggage, and adapting to different time zones.

  • Plan and implement projects greater than $25K.
  • Maintain constant and consistent communication with the client to provide updates on project status, address concerns promptly, and ensure alignment on goals, timelines, and deliverables
  • Create, maintain, and execute master project schedules and project plans.
  • Establish project budgets for services.
  • Obtain and manage building information including Certificates of Insurance.
  • Plan requested delivery dates and order sequencing for Order Entry.
  • Review acknowledgement dates and assist with discrepancies.
  • Presence onsite with GC and other trades by attending Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings
  • Verify jobsite conditions, dimensions, and site readiness.
  • Schedule labor and install resources.
  • Review installation drawings and field packets.
  • Coordinate pre-installation meetings with project and installation teams.
  • Monitor installation work and project schedules.
  • Report on installation and/or delivery progress.
  • Manage change orders.
  • Complete final walk-through and oversee punch list process to ensure 100% completion of the project.
  • Drive timely invoicing to meet forecast projections.
  • Provide all close out documents at project completion.
  • Evaluate and assess result of project.
