About The Position

Meg & Co. Designer Homes Senior Project Manager (Custom Home Construction) Location: Twin Falls, ID (primary office - projects located across the Magic and Wood River Valleys.) Build the kind of homes people talk about for decades. Meg & Co. Designer Homes is looking for a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead high-end custom residential projects from pre-construction through closeout, owning schedule, budget, trade performance, and client experience. If you're the steady hand who can anticipate issues before they become problems (and you hate sloppy execution), you'll fit right in. Meg & Co. Designer Homes delivers a design-forward, high-touch custom homebuilding experience, with an in-house design studio, a client-focused process, and a deep commitment to craftsmanship and detail. Our work blends beauty + function to create thoughtful, timeless homes, and we lean on strong systems and builder software to keep communication, selections, and project tracking clear and organized. As Senior Project Manager , you'll be the operational quarterback on complex custom builds, leading planning, coordinating trades, managing timelines and budgets, and keeping clients informed and confident throughout the build. You'll collaborate closely with leadership, design, and field partners to deliver projects that meet (and raise) the Meg & Co. standard.

Requirements

  • 12 to 15 or more years in residential construction, with significant experience in custom homebuilding
  • Proven success running projects with high finish standards, complex selections, and premium client expectations
  • Strong command of: scheduling + sequencing budget management + cost controls trade coordination + site leadership change order management
  • Excellent communication skills (clients, trades, internal teams)
  • Tech-comfortable (project management/build software, documentation, photos, updates)
  • Ability to travel to job sites across Southern/Central Idaho as needed
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (for multi-site construction leadership)

Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple custom home projects through planning, permitting support, build execution, punch, and turnover
  • Own project schedules, budgets, change orders, and progress billing (as applicable)
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors/trades for quality, safety, and timeline adherence
  • Run regular site walks, document progress, and proactively resolve issues/constraints
  • Maintain clear, professional client communication, setting expectations, and protecting the client experience
  • Ensure scopes, selections, and decisions stay aligned across design + construction
  • Track RFIs, material lead times, long-lead ordering, and delivery logistics
  • Maintain accurate project documentation using company systems/software
  • Drive consistent standards across jobsites (cleanliness, job readiness, QC checklists, closeout)
