About The Position

The Senior Project Manager – Cladding is a critical leadership role overseeing the execution of multifamily and commercial exterior projects across scopes such as siding, windows, doors, decking, flat roofing, façade repairs, and more. This position combines hands-on jobsite management with broader operational responsibilities, serving as a bridge between the field and office. The ideal candidate will lead active jobsites while learning and supporting division-wide operations under the mentorship of the current Cladding Operations Manager. This role is designed for growth—preparing the right individual to step into the Cladding Operations Manager position in the future. This is a highly visible role, requiring accountability, construction knowledge, communication skills, and a leadership mindset focused on safety, quality, logistics, and client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in roofing, construction project management, or field supervision
  • Strong understanding of exterior scopes (siding, windows, doors, decks, flat roofing, carpentry)
  • Proven ability to lead multiple crews and manage complex jobsite logistics
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
  • Hands-on, field-oriented leadership style with a desire to grow into a divisional leadership role
  • Comfortable working at heights, including climbing ladders and accessing slope roofs as part of daily duties

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual – Fluent in both English and Spanish (highly preferred)
  • Experience in multifamily and/or HOA roofing projects
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
  • Familiarity with Buildertrend or similar construction CRMs
  • Experience working with property managers, engineers, and HOAs

Responsibilities

  • Supervise multiple job sites across cladding scopes including siding, window and door replacements, decking, flat roofing, and structural repairs.
  • Manage crew scheduling, task assignments, equipment coordination, and daily production goals.
  • Conduct site prep, mobilization, and punch list walk-throughs to ensure quality completion.
  • Monitor installation work to ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and safety protocols.
  • Lead by example—first on site, last to leave—ensuring professionalism and accountability.
  • Coordinate material deliveries, equipment needs, and dumpster service for multiple jobs.
  • Track job progress using internal tools and daily reporting systems.
  • Support internal scheduling of inspections, client walkthroughs, and specialty trades.
  • Maintain active communication with the Operations Manager regarding progress, issues, or needs.
  • Ensure job documentation is updated daily, including crew reports, milestone completions, and photographic records.
  • Serve as the primary on-site representative for property managers, engineers, board members, and residents.
  • Manage expectations through clear, timely, and professional communication.
  • Handle client concerns in real-time and escalate appropriately when needed.
  • Provide ongoing project updates to internal staff, clients, and leadership.
  • Enforce OSHA and Lemus Construction safety protocols across all cladding job sites.
  • Ensure all crews follow PPE requirements, fall protection standards, and equipment protocols.
  • Conduct site safety walks, inspections, and toolbox talks.
  • Promptly report and document incidents, near-misses, and compliance issues.
  • Provide daily direction to field crews and subcontractors, ensuring productivity and alignment with scope.
  • Lead by example, setting a standard for professionalism, urgency, and accountability.
  • Participate in performance feedback for field personnel and subcontractors.
  • Assist in onboarding and mentoring junior project managers or field staff.
  • Attend leadership meetings and contribute to continuous improvement of operations processes.
  • Mentor and coach Project Managers and new team members as the department scales.
  • Support recruitment, training, and performance oversight as part of future operational growth.
  • Participate in weekly field operations meetings focused on safety, productivity, and project readiness.
  • Support the Cladding Operations Manager in building out jobs in Buildertrend: Create and publish project schedules, Enter scope-specific milestones and workflows, Submit purchase orders for materials and subcontractors, Monitor progress updates, field photos, and job communication logs
  • Assist with procurement tracking and vendor coordination for long lead-time items like windows, doors, or specialty siding.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Permits, Accounting, Customer Service) to support smooth project setup and closeout.
