About The Position

As a Senior Project Manager in the Construction industry, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects from start to finish. You will be expected to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients. Your ability to lead and motivate teams, manage resources, and communicate effectively with stakeholders will be critical to your success in this role. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all projects comply with relevant regulations and safety standards.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in project management in the horizontal construction industry
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of relevant regulations and safety standards

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
Professional certification in project management
Experience with construction software (HCSS HeavyBid) and technology
Experience managing projects in multiple locations
Experience working with government agencies and public entities such as TxDOT, HNTB, Travis/Williamson/Hays County, City of Austin, etc.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage construction projects from start to finish
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and project teams
Ensure that all projects comply with relevant regulations and safety standards
Identify and manage project risks and issues
Understand and manage project financial performance including Cost to Complete, Work in Progress, and Over/Under Billings
