About The Position

Our client is undergoing significant expansion across their Technology and Operations functions and is seeking to add a Project Manager to support key enterprise initiatives. This individual will play a critical role in leading technology-driven projects, improving operational workflows, and ensuring successful execution of strategic programs. The ideal candidate will bring strong project delivery experience, the ability to collaborate across business and technical teams, and a proven track record of managing multiple initiatives within the insurance industry. This role is best suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can balance both strategic planning and hands-on execution.

Requirements

  • 5 - 10+ years of Project Management experience within the P&C insurance industry
  • Strong understanding of project delivery frameworks, including both Agile and traditional approaches.
  • Familiarity with the full lifecycle of software and system implementation initiatives.
  • Experience managing project budgets, vendor relationships, and resource allocation.
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, DevOps platforms, or similar).
  • Ability to create and manage key project artifacts such as plans, requirements, timelines, and testing documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Nice To Haves

  • PMP, Scrum, or similar certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of technology and business-focused initiatives, including system enhancements, infrastructure efforts, and long-term transformation programs.
  • Partner with stakeholders to evaluate current workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement improved processes.
  • Establish project scope, objectives, timelines, resource plans, and financial estimates.
  • Coordinate internal teams, external partners, and vendors to ensure alignment and timely completion of deliverables.
  • Proactively identify potential risks and develop strategies to minimize impact throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define business needs, and translate them into actionable plans.
  • Ensure appropriate governance through documentation such as project plans, roadmaps, testing strategies, and status reporting.
  • Track progress against key milestones and provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate testing, validation, and acceptance processes to ensure quality standards are achieved.
  • Drive project closure activities, confirming successful delivery and completion of all outstanding items.
