About The Position

The Project Engineer IV is responsible for leading the technical design of land development projects from concept through construction. This role has the ability to prepare and coordinate entire plan sets and perform advanced engineering analysis, modeling, and design. This position serves as the senior technical authority on projects and provides leadership to the engineering team throughout the design process.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Civil Engineering or similar field of study from an accredited university is required
  • 8–12+ years of land development design experience.
  • Advanced expertise in grading, stormwater management, utilities, and site design.
  • Extensive experience preparing and coordinating full construction plan sets.
  • Strong technical leadership and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain within 12–18 months.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation of full construction plan sets for land development projects.
  • Perform advanced engineering computations, modeling, and design.
  • Direct grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility design.
  • Coordinate technical design across all disciplines involved in the project.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering staff.
  • Review and approve engineering plans prior to submission.
  • Coordinate directly with project managers, clients, and regulatory agencies.
  • Assist with project strategy, design approach, and problem solving.
