You lead projects from early concept through design, pricing, and performance validation-leveraging modeling, analytics, and real-world constructability insight to ensure every solution is technically sound, financially viable, and executable in the field. You collaborate seamlessly with Sales, Engineering, and Operations to protect margin, reduce risk, and deliver high-performance building outcomes. Through mentorship, strong communication, and technical leadership, you elevate both project delivery and overall team capability.

Requirements

  • Associate degree required; Bachelor's preferred in engineering or related discipline.
  • 10+ years delivering building infrastructure, energy efficiency, or distributed energy resource projects.
  • Experience leading technical teams and managing cross-functional coordination.
  • Expert-level ability in energy modeling, building analytics, load studies, utility consumption analysis.
  • Deep understanding of HVAC systems, central plant optimization, and building automation controls.
  • Experience developing performance guarantees, feasibility studies, and detailed design documentation.
  • Familiarity with M&V practices and IPMVP protocols.
  • Skilled in evaluating engineering designs for constructability, cost, lifecycle value, and performance risk.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with industry software tools for modeling, analytics, and design.
  • Strong knowledge of codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
  • Proven ability to mentor junior engineers and influence cross-functional project teams.
  • Strong customer-facing communication skills.
  • Ability to convert technical value into meaningful business outcomes for customers and internal stakeholders.
