Job Description Active (or ability to obtain and maintain) TS/SCI with Poly Clearance Required This candidate is responsible for the integrated project budgets, forecasts and actual cost of work performed for Projects in support of missions of high national priority. This position will be located at the clients project site in Aurora, Colorado. Duties include but are not limited to:

Requirements

  • Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and twelve (12) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to sixteen (16) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
  • Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
  • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
  • Active (or ability to obtain and maintain) TS/SCI with Poly clearance

  • Technical knowledge and practical experience with applicable software systems, such as: Primavera P6, Deltek Cobra, and related Management tools for Cost, Change, and Progress

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and direct the total Project Controls program on projects or lead one of the Project Controls’ functions in a large project
  • Working closely with the Project Management, Engineering Management, as well as other technical leads to capture impacts while developing Monthly Cost Forecast
  • Analyze variances in cost or schedule performance against the plan, and communicate the reasons for the issuance of variance and proposed mitigation plans to Project Management
  • Interface and collaborate with client to analyze cost performance and implement mitigation strategies to address concerns
  • Accumulate and compile accurate cost management data to prepare the project budget and update the progress of the project
  • Propose to project leadership the implementation of corrective actions based on identified metrics and variance analysis.
  • Developing and maintaining detailed technical quantity-based performance metrics
  • Maintain the established project cost program and prepare status reports
  • Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines
  • Collaborate with schedulers to analyze cost and schedule performance and document variances.
  • Develop and maintain Work Breakdown and Project Coding Structures for control and integrity of work defined by the contract.
  • Develop and maintain internal Profit and Margin Analysis reporting.
  • Provide meaningful, accurate historical data
