Maintain all aspects of new direct and indirect project setup and existing project maintenance in Costpoint for projects of various contract types to include Cost Plus, Time Material, Work in Process and Fixed Price. Analyze contract awards, modifications, purchase orders and other contract vehicles to enable the accurate and timely set-up of projects in the Costpoint accounting system (within SLA terms). Upload/import the input file on the Import Project Master Data Screen. Collaborate with internal customers to recommend proper project setup to ensure accurate revenue recognition, billing, and cost reporting requirements are met. Ensure financial accounting policies and processes are met while processing requests. Respond to ServiceNow requests. Lead project setup business system initiatives, which include: (i) assessing & developing tools, (ii) re-designing the setup workflow & process, and (iii) documenting standardization requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve problems in Deltek Costpoint, Time Collection, Nintex, and ServiceNow. Use Nintex workflow software and review and enter data received from workflow. Crosstrain select internal resources on Project Setup-related items. Assist with month-end close related duties, to include: (i) reviewing revenue computations and preparing system adjustments, (ii) confirming system costing accuracy, (iii) and contract backlog information accuracy. Support other Finance, Accounting and Contract initiatives.
