As Senior Program Manager, you join an exclusive team of leaders responsible for the implementation of the Alzheimer’s Association Portfolio of Common Program Offerings. The position is responsible for activating a grassroots network of individuals and leaders to work toward a world without Alzheimer’s and all other dementia by primarily serving designated counties in Western and Central North Dakota, including the following counties: Cass, Clay, Ransom Sargent and Richland. This position may provide services in other areas of ND as needed. The Senior Program Manager serves as a key member of the North Dakota programs leadership team, supporting the ND Program Director in guiding the program staff, providing supervision to Program Managers, and contributing to overall program operations as needed. Utilizing your proven leadership, networking and relationship building skills to cultivate key community connections, you will drive success and expand the reach of our community offerings by strategically identifying and engaging community partners and activating and empowering volunteers, especially in new, under-resourced and rural communities. The position not only manages and supports volunteers but also actively contributes to day-to-day work and deliverables. As a successful community mobilizer who will manage multiple program delivery volunteers annually, you will generate excitement and enthusiasm in the community for the cause, coach and inspire your volunteers to implement proven strategies and best practices that result in increased community presence and serve more people with awareness, education and support year over year. This position is partially grant funded and will help to fulfill requirements of a contract with the North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services, Aging Services Section.
