THE ROLE Pure Storage is on a transformation journey with ambitious growth goals, and our Technical Sellers play a key role in bringing our innovative platform and solutions to our customers. We are looking for a dynamic and accomplished Senior Program Manager to join our Global Enablement team to design, manage, and continuously evolve our world-class Technical Sales Onboarding program. This individual will be responsible for working within Enablement and in partnership with Sales, Operations, Product, and Human Resources to ensure our new Systems Engineers, Specialists, and Architects achieve the technical depth and sales acumen necessary to be highly productive and successful. The ideal candidate is passionate about learning with a proven track record of managing strategic enablement programs, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, experience working with Sales and Technical Sales, and the ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally to deliver highly effective programs with measurable business impact.

  • Program Strategy & Ownership: Own the vision, strategy, design, and execution of the end-to-end Technical Sales Onboarding program, ensuring it effectively prepares Technical Sellers to perform in role.
  • Stakeholder Management: Establish strong, collaborative relationships with Sales Leadership, Product, Sales Operations, Human Resources, and Enablement to ensure the program aligns with business priorities and performance expectations.
  • Curriculum Development & Management: Oversee the development and delivery of the program curriculum, including self-paced training, hands-on workshops, technical training, and certification, working in collaboration with the curriculum development team.
  • Program Enrollment & Communications: Manage program enrollment and orchestrate all program-related communications to participants, managers, stakeholders, and key contributors, ensuring clear and timely messaging throughout the program.
  • Measurement & Reporting: Define and measure program reach, effectiveness, and impact to key business metrics; analyze performance data and regularly report to stakeholders.
  • Facilitation & Coaching: Facilitate live sessions and coach new hires through the onboarding experience.
  • Strong understanding of technical sales roles and the journey from hire to field readiness.
  • Experience measuring program effectiveness and business impact.
  • Experience working with Instructional Designers and Sales Enablement systems.
  • Strong team-oriented leadership skills, with the ability to build rapport, collaborate, motivate, influence, and advise indirect staff.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
