About The Position

This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable. As part of a passionate National Security Programs team, you will manage National Security Space Launch (NSSL) and Intelligence Community (IC) launch vehicle requirements to ensure program success and customer satisfaction by ensuring New Glenn launch systems capabilities meet customer requirements. This critical role manages scope ensuring our Integrated Data Environment (IDE) meets U.S. Space Force and NASA requirements for data access in support of New Glenn launch system certification and recurring mission assurance requirements. Additionally, you will manage Award Fee performance inputs and submittals ensuring our customer evaluation ratings and profit are maximized. To be successful in this role, you will develop and maintain positive relationships across the New Glenn launch system program and our US Government partners at the US Space Force and National Reconnaissance Office. You must be proactive in planning sophisticated products across many technical subject areas while also developing, delivering, and communicating program plans and schedules which meet government requirements. Lastly, you must have the resourcefulness and flexibility to perform at a high-level in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be an incredible team member! Requirements

  • Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering or an equivalent technical management field
  • Proven experience with large-scale, development aerospace program
  • Solid understanding of program management and resource planning practices
  • Experience with NSSL customer requirements and mission assurance practices
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Use excellent judgement and be comfortable making high-quality and high-velocity decisions
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong track record of product ownership
  • Ability to earn trust and develop positive and inclusive relationships
  • Experience with collaboration tools such as Confluence and JIRA
  • Top Secret security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information
