About The Position

We are looking for a highly-motivated Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join the TikTok Monetization PMO team to help us empower creators, connect people, and help businesses by building the next-generation monetization platform together. As a TPM for TikTok Monetization team, you will work closely with XFN teams to solve problems. You will assist in strategic planning and ensure team's disciplined execution. You will discover improvement opportunities and design/implement solutions. You will create processes and best practices that improves team transparency, consistency, velocity and quality. You will take on complex and multi-disciplinary projects to enhance the business. Meanwhile, you will learn and grow in a fast paced environment alongside talented teammates. The ideal candidate will be someone with proven problem-solving records. You are an experienced program manager. You are comfortable working with senior leaders and can contribute original insights in all circumstances. You are self-motivated, organized, and thrive in ambiguous situations. You are a fast learner and great communicator. Relevant technical or business experience would be a bonus, but your demonstrated drive and abilities to learn & thrive in new environment are even more important.

Requirements

  • Experience in consulting or project management
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with strong leadership, has developed and led new initiatives from the ground up
  • Excellent cross-functional stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in hands-on large scale software development
  • Experience in implementing processes and improving efficiencies for large teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in digital ads industry.
  • Familiar with software development tasks, and proficient in at least one programming language (e.g., Java or Python).
  • Familiarity with middleware is preferred, and knowledge of algorithms will be a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support strategy planning and own disciplined execution for TikTok Monetization initiatives and key projects.
  • Take an ambiguous problem, clarify its scope, and design a detailed project plan to solve it, by exercising sound technical and business judgment.
  • Build effective and transparent communication channels to align and partner with internal as well as external stakeholders and delivery teams.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to continuously improve the organization's efficiency and velocity.
