About The Position

The Supportive Services Program Manager will provide leadership and support for Supportive Services staff at several of Foundation Communities’ Single Room Occupancy (SRO) Communities. This position is responsible for managing and developing on-site supportive services that promote the health and well-being of residents, overseeing effective service delivery and documentation, and coordinating interagency partnerships. Additionally, this position will oversee several grant funded projects including the management of enrollments, outcome tracking, reporting, and program evaluation.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work (or related field) and two years of relevant experience or six years of relevant experience in supportive housing required.
  • Three years of supervisory experience required.
  • Experience in crisis intervention services and case management required.
  • Demonstrated competence in working with people from diverse backgrounds and ability levels required.
  • Demonstrated experience communicating and cooperating effectively with a wide array of partners and stakeholders required.

Nice To Haves

  • Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Program Oversight: Manage Supportive Services across multiple Supportive Housing/Single Room Occupancy (SRO) communities. Work proactively to develop and oversee services that improve resident housing stability and quality of life. Cover properties in the event of staff vacancy or crisis situations.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise supportive services personnel, including Program Managers and other services staff. Responsibilities include approving timesheets, conducting performance evaluations, participating in hiring, onboarding, training, and managing staff discipline.
  • Resident Retention: Collaborate with District Managers and other onsite staff to enhance housing retention through the Blended Management process. Address issues related to cooperative living through coaching and referrals to social services as needed.
  • Resident Engagement: Foster warm, professional relationships with residents through respect and compassion. Maintain ongoing communication to identify needs and collaborate with external service providers to form partnerships. Ensure services are resident-driven, culturally competent, and promote community integration. Help onsite staff lead creative on-site programming and events to build community and resident engagement.
  • Grant Oversight: Develop processes for grant compliance and budget management. Ensure quarterly and annual requirements are met while tracking all aid and metrics appropriately. Oversee partnerships with external service providers.
  • Documentation Monitoring: Ensure accurate documentation of services delivered per FC documentation systems and grant requirements. Submit necessary reports on time and develop engagement strategies for producing and tracking outcomes.
  • Communication: Maintain constant communication with the Supportive Services team and senior management to ensure effective information flow.
  • Fundraising Support: Assist staff with fundraising initiatives and community awareness activities related to supportive housing.
  • Emergency Availability: Be available for after-hours work in emergencies (only) as needed.
