Project finance plans, controls, and reports program performance relating to cost and schedule according to the Earned Value Management System. Project finance is a well-rounded role that introduces an employee to the various facets of BAE Systems finance. This role supports the F-35 Solutions Product Line in the Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) Business Area. Working within the F-35 Sustainment portfolio, this role is a key contributor to the success of EW sustainment in the Electronic Systems Sector. This role will be based in Merrimack, NH, and will be performed in a Hybrid remote format, with the individual splitting their time between our offices, and remotely. To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must reside within a reasonable daily commute of our office at 25 Manchester St, Merrimack, NH.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related degree / and 2+ years of work experience; alternatively, a master’s degree and 1+ years of work experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Experience managing, analyzing, and extracting insights from large datasets
  • Demonstrated problem solving and in-depth analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and present financial data to other functions in an accurate, concise, and understandable manner
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact cross functionally
  • Ability to prioritize and self-manage a multi-tasked workload in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to make decisions with sound judgment while complying with company policies and procedures

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in program finance and/or other finance functional disciplines
  • Experience with Earned Value Management
  • Experience with Power Query and Power Pivot within Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Oracle, Hyperion, Cobra, ProPricer, and iPortal
  • Experience with project forecasting and analysis, particularly in a US Defense environment
  • Experience with proposals
  • Understanding and knowledge industry practices and standards as well as company policies
