About The Position

ASRC Federal is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Program Control Analyst to support financial management and reporting across federal programs. This role plays a critical part in ensuring program financial accuracy, compliance, and performance by partnering with cross-functional teams and delivering insightful analysis to support contract execution and decision-making. This is a 100% remote opportunity. Responsible for the following areas Work with shared service functional groups, such as Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Payroll, Accounting, Procurement, Contracts and Subcontracts to ensure all financial aspects of the program are accurately recorded and reported in a timely manner. Prepare program-related financial data for analysis and cyclical reporting. Prepare month-end closing in accordance with federal governmental accounting standards. Produce metrics and reports to represent contract budgets and forecasting. Prepare purchase requisitions in support of subcontractor and procurement activities. Review revenue recognition, revenue adjustments, indirect rate adjustments, limitation of funds, forecasting, reviewing contract cost and invoices. Analyze and interpret contract task descriptions with program management and prepare task order pricing responses and cost proposals. Research customer requests for further information and prepare ad-hoc reporting to address concerns. Review plan versus actual data and their associated variances; identify and categorize root causes. Prepare reports, correspondence, and presentations utilizing Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Review accuracy of contract direct and indirect cost pools. Receive, review and setup for processing of inter-company work order (IWO) invoices as they pertain to contracts managed. Setup and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) for new and existing contracts.

Requirements

  • Experience in Program Finance & Analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline and 5-7 years of experience or equilavent.
  • Advanced Excel skill set; proficiency with MS Office.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to manage priorities and workload.
  • Must be a US citizen with ability to pass a Government background investigation.

Nice To Haves

  • Deltek Costpoint or Cognos experience is a plus.
  • Government contracting work experience is a plus.
