Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Senior Program Administrator (Rutgers Community Arts) for Mason Gross School of the Arts (MGSA). This position plays a key role in managing and coordinating community engagement and outreach activities, with a focus on both local and regional initiatives. Reporting directly to the Associate Dean for Finance & Administration, this position is responsible for developing and fostering partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders in support of recruitment, summer activities, P-12 engagement, and fundraising initiatives, among other schoolwide priorities. Among the key duties of the position are the following: Collaborates with MGSA leadership team, including deans, chairs/directors, and staff to ensure seamless coordination of community arts programs. Leads in shaping and implementing innovative curriculum initiatives across a variety of art disciplines (music, theater, dance, art & design, filmmaking). Designs and/or manages the coordination of arts programs for a diverse audience, including Pre-K to 12th students, adult learners, and arts enthusiasts. Oversees program assessment and accreditation processes for various programs to ensure quality and compliance with institutional standards. Manages the administrative operation of the programs, including budgeting, staffing, and other logistical details. Cultivates and maintains partnerships with external and internal constituents, including potential donors, community partners, and other stakeholders to support fundraising and external funding efforts and community outreach activities.
