You will be the Senior Production Test Engineer (Missile Assembly)(ATE) -1st Shift (Tues-Fri) for the Missile Assembly team. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.

  • Supporting the development of automated test equipment and manufacturing test planning
  • Preparing test procedures from engineering and conducting detailed failure analysis
  • Evaluating electrical test results and developing root‑cause and corrective/preventative actions
  • Utilizing statistical data analysis for trend analysis and performing test anomaly troubleshooting and fault resolution
  • Interpreting engineering data and supporting electro‑mechanical integration
  • Degree from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related technical discipline at the Bachelor's level and 5+ years production test experience or 3+ years production test experience with a related Master's degree; Or 9 years of related professional experience.
  • Experience reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings, specifications and schematics.
  • Experience conducting detailed failure analysis to determine root cause and implement the corrective / preventative actions.
  • Must be willing and able to work Tues-Friday 1st Shift.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance. Lockheed Martin will assist selected candidate with obtaining at least an Interim Secret Clearance prior to starting. Additionally, the candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives ("ATF") background check to obtain approval to be an "employee possessor" (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Failure to obtain and retain employee possessor status may result in revocation of an offer and loss of employment.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Knowledge / experience with (1) electronic circuits, (2) automated test software, (3) manufacturing test in a production environment, (4) the ability to interpret engineering requirements, (5) evaluating electrical test results, (6) conducting detailed failure analysis, (7) developing and implementing root cause and corrective / preventative actions and (8) utilizing statistical data analysis for trend analysis.
  • Previous experience working with Radio Frequency (RF) equipment and RF testing methodologies is highly desired.
  • Previous experience with programming languages C, C#, C++, Visual C or Visual Basic, and National Instrument Lab-Windows CVI, Test-Stand and NI Lab-View software.
  • Strong hands-on assembly / disassembly / troubleshooting skills of mechanical, electrical, industrial and/or home equipment and products.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing software DELMIA Apriso Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Systems Applications & Products (SAP) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools in a manufacturing environment.
