You will be the Senior Production Test Engineer (Missile Assembly) (ATE) for the Missile Assembly team. Our team is responsible for developing and implementing automated test equipment, manufacturing test planning, and electro‑mechanical integration to support Production Operations at Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control in Troy, Alabama. This person will work 1st shift Tues-Fri. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Support the development of automated test equipment and manufacturing test planning. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start. Basic Qualifications Degree from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related technical discipline at the Bachelor’s level and 5+ years production test experience or 3+ years production test experience with a related Master’s degree; Or 9 years of related professional experience. Experience reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings, specifications and schematics. Experience conducting detailed failure analysis to determine root cause and implement the corrective / preventative actions. Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance. Lockheed Martin will assist selected candidate with obtaining at least an Interim Secret Clearance prior to starting. Additionally, the candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (“ATF”) background check to obtain approval to be an “employee possessor” (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations.
