Team Leadership & Performance Management: • Supervise, evaluate, and empower a team that produces manufactured products, and organize workflow to meet quality and daily productivity requirements. • Drive to exceed personal/team/Company goals by holding self and team to high performance standards through servant leadership. • Optimize throughput in accordance with budgets and cost objectives. 2. Operational Excellence & Standardized Work: • Ensure safety, quality, and productivity objectives are met through coaching standardized work, verifying lines are running safely, smoothly, and producing quality parts. 3. Relationship Building & Communication: • Build strong interpersonal relationships with hourly team members, union representatives, and management teams. • Act as a two-way communicator who actively listens to hourly team members, leaders, business partners, and customers. 4. Development & Coaching: • Support peer team by training, coaching, and developing newly hired and promoted Supervisors. 5. Continuous Improvement & Problem Solving: • Be highly committed to continuous improvement, applying innovative solutions with a customer-first mindset. • Develop Kaizen projects to improve processes for material handling operations. 6. Performance Monitoring & Reporting: • Manage and update Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) within the zone control center. 7. Safety & Policy Implementation: • Create a safety culture; apply and implement workplace policies consistently.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2-3 years as a Process Coach
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights and weekends
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in difficult and stressful situations
  • Two-way communicator who actively listens to hourly team members, leaders, business partners and customers
  • Highly committed to continuous improvement, while applying innovative solutions with a customer first mindset
  • Create a culture of safety and apply and implement workplace policies
  • Administer the CBA (collective bargaining agreement) consistently and effectively
  • Values different opinions & is open to ideas & perspectives from others

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Safety and quality experience
  • Six Sigma: Black or Green Belt certified
  • Knowledge of constraint management principles
  • Prior experience managing a unionized workforce
  • Strong mechanical background
