Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in production planning and/or purchasing coordination, ideally in a manufacturing or technology environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with SAP and other forms of data collecting and distribution for production planning and purchasing processes (required).
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have full professional proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with travel booking and scheduling logistics is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all production planning activities for the Indianapolis facility, specifically focused on our OEM contract manufacturing segment, ensuring optimal scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow efficiency.
  • Coordinate purchasing operations for our OEM contract manufacturing segment, including sourcing, procurement, vendor management, and inventory control.
  • Maintain accurate records of production schedules, purchase orders, inventory levels, and supplier communications using SAP and other forms of data collecting and distribution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, manage supply chain risks, and resolve production or purchasing issues.
  • Support field installation planning.
  • Analyze production and purchasing data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare regular reports for management on production status, purchasing activities, and technician scheduling.
