About The Position

Martin-Baker America is seeking a highly skilled Senior Production Planner to join our team. This role is a key contributor to production planning, responsible for the development, scheduling, and monitoring of material movement throughout the production cycle. The successful candidate will ensure efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with organizational goals while serving as a subject matter expert in planning and inventory management. The Senior Production Planner plays a critical role within Integrated Product Teams (IPT), building strong working relationships and fostering effective communication with fellow IPT members, manufacturing personnel, and cross-functional departments. This position requires the ability to coordinate workflows across multiple products, define equipment, raw material, and labor needs, and establish timelines for order completion. The planner will identify priority products and operations to optimize workflows, analyze production output data to drive efficiency, and support configuration control processes by collaborating with engineering and other business streams. Strong communication skills are essential, as the planner must accurately convey information to supervisors, leads, and production line employees, while responding quickly to requests for reports and data derived from the company's MRP system. Technical expertise in production planning, scheduling, and inventory control techniques is required, along with the ability to interpret complex product drawings, specifications, and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate independence in managing activities, the ability to resolve conflicting requirements through coordination with product line teams, and a commitment to teamwork across all levels of the organization. Accuracy, diligence, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are critical to success in this role.
