Role Summary: The Office of Technology and Digital Services (OTDS) provide Technology services to our internal customers to help support our customers, grow our business and facilitate efficiencies to keep our employees and their processes successful. The Product Team Department manages the product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities, acting as a liaison to support product positioning and customer demand. The Product Manager/Owner is responsible for delivering valuable, innovative products to the marketplace in line with the organization’s strategy. As well as act as the third level support / expert for any production issues.

Responsibilities

  • This role supports 2 main product teams: Reporting Product Team: Focuses on understanding the need from CRM/Field/Sponsors/Corporate and Finance areas/ Actuarial / Legal / Admin Operations / Etc. The role is responsible to Work with the business representatives to understand and analyze business needs for creating report from our Qlik System. This requires Business knowledge, reporting expertise, ability to analyze data, and provide clear requirements to the Development teams. This role also supports troubleshooting in the event of unexpected results.
  • Regulatory Reporting Product Team: focuses on the delivery of the 5500/8955/and other regulatory reports which are part of an annual process and require constant updates to the Regulatory rules. This requires some 5500 expertise would be of value, ability to analyze data, and provide clear requirements to the Development teams. This role also supports troubleshooting in the event of unexpected results.
  • Evaluate product functionalities and performance based on regulatory changes or business need.
  • Propose enhancements and/or improvements to products based on regulatory changes or business need.
  • Stay on top of the technology to ensure we support our business needs and continue to support our top goals: Customer retention, commitment to growth, Enhancing customer experience.
  • Based on the above goals, draft a feature roadmap based on business needs and continuously update them throughout the year to ensure we are prioritizing and delivering what is needed by our customers.
  • Use our tools (Jira, Confluence, Service Now, etc.) to ensure we are measuring our delivery to our businesses and our sponsors.
  • Generate innovative ideas to improve customer experience and drive growth.
