About The Position

The AWS Business User Productivity PMM team is looking for a highly motivated Senior Product Marketing Manager to drive messaging, positioning, advocacy, product launches, and go-to-market strategies for advanced, AI-based solutions. We are seeking a talented Senior Product Marketing Manager with strong creative and storytelling skills, to join the AWS Solutions team to develop a customer-centric narratives and deliver engaging experiences to drive top-level business goals. As a key team member in this fast growing, exciting space you will have the opportunity to help lead early market development efforts, establish compelling messaging, drive global growth, and help shape the future this AI-powered technology that will have a significant impact on our customers’ businesses. You will partner closely with AWS Executives, Product Managers, Marketing, Sales, and Partner leads. You can expect every day to be a bit different as the landscape is changing rapidly. You can also expect interesting interactions with customers, internal partners and executives, and external influencers such as analysts and trade press. You'll work on crystallizing the value our products provide to customers and will create content of all sorts to communicate that value in a clear, crisp, concise, and compelling fashion. Millions of customers—including the fastest-growing startups, largest enterprises, and leading government agencies—are using AWS to lower costs, become more agile, and innovate faster. The AWS Product Marketing team develops crisp, highly differentiated, and compelling positioning and messaging for AWS and its services. We tell AWS’s most important and interesting stories to educate customers about what is possible when they build on AWS. We’re also responsible for “connecting the dots” between various different AWS capabilities and services to make sure that we are building and marketing the right portfolios of offerings to meet and exceed the needs of our customers – and that we’re able to clearly articulate the value propositions. Our team also drives our cadence of launching and making available our services so that our customers can adopt them.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
  • Experience communicating results to senior leadership
  • Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting

  • You will be part of the team responsible for defining our positioning and messaging to customers

  • You will work with executive leadership, at both the strategic and tactical level, to champion bold, creative ideas
  • You will articulate complex technical concepts in simple terms
  • You will work effectively across AWS with groups such as engineering, marketing, sales, business development, and evangelists to achieve our joint business goals
