About The Position

This role offers the chance to lead product marketing for complex data platforms, translating technical capabilities into clear, compelling stories that resonate with diverse audiences. The Senior Product Marketing Manager will craft messaging and positioning for data products, influencing go-to-market strategies, product launches, and customer engagement. Working closely with Product, Sales, and cross-functional teams, you will leverage market insights and user research to shape product strategy and drive adoption. The role emphasizes both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, balancing technical understanding with creative communication. Ideal candidates are analytical, customer-focused, and thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing or technical marketing, preferably in data, customer data platforms, or customer experience technology.
  • Proven ability to simplify complex technical concepts into value-driven messaging for technical and executive audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills with a “get under the hood” mindset to understand data architectures, APIs, and workflows.
  • Strategic thinker with experience leveraging market research to drive positioning, thought leadership, and campaigns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple initiatives, and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; experience marketing technical platforms to developers or data professionals is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop audience-specific messaging, positioning, and content that differentiates data products in the market.
  • Conduct market and customer research to build deep understanding of user needs and inform product strategy.
  • Lead cross-functional product launches, collaborating with Marketing, Sales Enablement, GTM, and Support teams to drive awareness, adoption, and usage.
  • Translate complex technical features (e.g., pipelines, APIs, data governance) into compelling customer narratives and value propositions.
  • Influence product development by championing customer needs throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Partner with Customer Marketing to cultivate advocates and create case studies, blogs, and speaking opportunities.
